What You’ll Do on Your First Visit

Arrival & Forms

If you have not completed your forms, we will greet you and help you fill them in upon your arrival. They comprise the questions about your dental history, medical conditions, and insurance. Doing these procedures in advance is very convenient, as it saves time for the first visit.

Dental Exam & X-Rays

We’ll do a complete dental exam: check your teeth, gums, jaw, and bite. If needed, we’ll take X-rays to see what’s happening under your gums and between your teeth. This helps us understand any hidden issues.

Talk & Plan

After the exam, the dentist near you will talk with you about what we found. We’ll suggest treatments if they’re needed (like cleaning, fillings, or cosmetic work) and make a plan together. We’ll answer all your questions so you feel good about what happens next.

Clean & Care Advice

If a cleaning is needed, we’ll do it or schedule it. We’ll also give you tips on how to take care of your teeth at home—how to brush, floss, and keep your smile healthy until your next visit.
